IX Web Hosting IX Web Hosting OK. so here's the real deal on iX Webhosting... They are really great. In the past, before setting up our own private servers, we used ix. Before I go any further, please realize as I have said so many times before, this hosting review site is all about simplicity! If you are a tech nerd just killing time, you are not going to get any heavy industry terms from this article. With that being said, for the basic entry level user, here's what wight interest you to know about iX Webhosting. Customer service, like a real person answering the phone when you need help with something is terrific. I used to call quite often and can not remember ever getting let down! Very little down time was ever experienced, however it did happen from time to time. Once their servers were apparently even "hacked into," according to the support guy I spoke with about all my sites being down. Do not take that the wrong way, it happens I guess but the important thing is that they worked through it with dignity, and got back to 100% quite quickly. The control panel login area is pretty typical for any hosting company we have seen. Set up to be as ugly as possible by programmers I think lol! But after some timewe did learn our way around pretty well, after getting used to the lay out. If you are looking for a slightly more advanced hosting compnay, in other words, you are slightly above beginner, I would certainly recommend IX WebHosting. Hope it helps but remember this, if you need hosting for the main purpose of getting your new site, idea or project off the ground, don't get too caught up in the details. At the end of the day, hosting is hosting, all the rest is nothing more than details!
